EA SPORTS have released a Showdown series SBC Edin Džeko in FIFA 21, elicited from his team's upcoming Europa League match against Ajax.

If Roma wins the upcoming Europa League match against Ajax, Edin Džeko's SBC card will be boosted from an 89-rated card to a 91-rated card. If they lose, his card will remain 89-rated, and a tie will result in Neres getting just a +1 boost to a 90-rated card.

In return for completing the Edin Džeko Showdown SBC, you will receive the special Džeko card, a Gold Players pack and a Small Prime Gold Players pack.

Edin Džeko Showdown SBC Analysis

With A.S Roma currently leading the aggregate against Ajax, Džeko is the favorite to get the +2 upgrade to a 91-rated striker. With the boost, Edin Džeko will be a tank up front, with his high-rated shooting stats in almost all areas and decent pace splits. While he won't be the most agile upfront with three-star skills and a high and-average+ body type, he will still have some mobility with an engine chemistry style, bringing his agility and balance up to respectable ratings. His physical are great taking away his low aggression, and outside of the agility and balance his dribbling stats are massive. With the upgrade, Džeko will be a very useable Serie A striker.

For linkability, Džeko doesn't have much for his nation, but he strong links the Flashback El-Shaarawy, as well as Bruno Peres at RB if you convert Džeko to a midfielder and Chris Smalling's What if plus card. He also of course links to the many solid Serie A players currently available in FUT.
