Elden Ring Roderika Quest Guide

Roderika is one of many apparently helpless NPCs you'll encounter over the course of your journey in Elden Ring. When you first meet her, she's fairly down about her own usefulness, despairing that the friends she once had all died in her service without accomplishing anything. But if you see her quest to its end, you'll give her life new purpose and get an important merchant in the process. Here's how to do so.

You'll first meet Roderika at Stormhill Shack, on the path Stormveil Castle. Speak to her until you've exhausted her dialogue options and you'll receive both the Sitting Sideways pose and the Spirit Jellyfish Ashes.

Proceed through Stormveil Castle (or fast travel to the Rampart Tower Site of Grace). Head to the west end of the room with the Grafted Scion — opposite the giant painting. Turn left, toward the south, and you'll see a doorway leading out to a small courtyard pile high with corpses. On top of the pile you'll be able to collect the Chrsyalids' Memento.

Return to Roderika at Stormhill Shack and exhaust her dialogue. Next, travel to Roundtable Hold. You'll find her standing by the fire. Talk to her and you'll receive a Golden Seed.

Next, talk to Smithing Master Hewg about Roderika. He'll suggest she could be a potent Spirit Tuner. Return to Roderika and relay what he said, then go back to Hewg and convince him Roderika wants to learn Spirit Tuning.

Leave the Roundtable Hold, then return. You'll find Roderika sitting across the hall from Hewg, ready to upgrade your Spirit Ashes via Spirit Tuning. She won't be wearing her hood anymore — you can grab it for yourself from where you picked up the Chrysalid's Memento.

Endgame spoilers ahead: After you burn the Erdtree, Roderika will move back to the fireplace and ask you to convince Hewg to leave the roundtable.
