Elder Scrolls Online Imperial City Event 2019: Everything You Need to Know
By Jack O'Dwyer
The Elder Scrolls Online Imperial City Event 2019 is looming on the horizon. Starting tomorrow, players will have the opportunity to venture into the depths of the Daedra-sacked Imperial City and rid the districts of dark influence. In return, they'll be given rewards, prizes, and even free downloadable content (DLC) in the heart of Cyrodiil. Are you ready to return to the White-Gold Tower?
Here's our guide for this year's Imperial City event.
ESO Imperial City Event 2019
The event will run from 10 a.m. Sept. 5 until 10 a.m. Sept. 16. All the activities take place in or are relevant to the Imperial City at the center of Cyrodiil. Although the city itself is located in the player-versus-player region, you don't have to take up one of the three banners to participate in the event.
If you do decide to pound the pavement, you can expect bonuses like double Tel Var stones, Key Fragments, materials, and loot dropped by mobs in the city and in its dungeons. You might also get your chance at the Stonefire Scamp pet and the Soul-Shriven skin by spending time clearing the districts.
That's not all. From now on, the Imperial City DLC will be free to all players — no subscription needed. You can jump into the region at any time to quest for stones or level up your Fighters Guild skills.
The Imperial City Collector’s Bundle will also be on sale in the Crown Store for 3000 crowns. This bundle includes the Mind-Shriven skin, the Daedrat pet, Mind-Shriven Horse mount, five experience scrolls, and the actual DLC.
As with most ESO events, players will be able to earn tickets in exchange for performing certain tasks. These tasks are slaying the patrolling monster or mini-boss in the Imperial City streets and sewers or completing either the White-Gold Tower or Imperial City Prison dungeons. You can earn up to two tickets a day and are free to spend your tickets with the Impresario for unique prizes.
You might want to save you tickets until you reach 10, however, as the newest evolution of Indrik is now available—the Onyx Indrik. Players will be able to purchase Onyx Berries of Growth to start the process of transforming their Nascent Indrik mount into an Onyx Indrik.
