ESO Ice Furnace set is a popular set among players.

The Elder Scrolls Online has many gear sets that players can mix and match to create the ultimate build. Each set gives off unique benefits depending on the amount of pieces acquired by the player. There are various methods of how to get sets—including dungeons, player versus player, and even just questing in the world. One of these sets is known as the Ice Furnace and is dropped within Direfrost Keep.

ESO Ice Furnace Set: How to Get

Ice Furnace is a heavy armor exclusive set. Therefore, the bonuses associated with this set are likely to boost your health stat.

There are four perks that can be earned by gathering this set. Keep in mind, the perks only apply while your character is wearing the armor. They are as follows:

  • At two items, players gain 1096 extra magicka.
  • At three items, players gain an additional 833 to their Spell Critical rating.
  • At four items, players add 129 to their Spell Damage.
  • At five items, a special effect occurs. When players deal frost damage, they have a 50% chance to deal an additional 1644 flame damage to all enemies within 8 meters of their original target. This can happen once every second.

The set scales to level 50 and caps at the usual 160 Champion Points. It binds to your character when picked up. There are weapons of every type available within it.

How to Get ESO Ice Furnace Set Pieces

Pieces of the Ice Furnace set can be found by running the Direfrost Keep dungeon. Each boss is now guaranteed to drop a related item, so players should have no problem collecting them all after a few runs.

Mini-bosses will drop the hand, waist, or feet piece. Regular bosses will drop the chest, shoulder, leg, or head piece. The final boss will drop a weapon or some kind of jewelry.

Unique items such as the Troll-Tooth Necklace, Shard of Iceheart, and Drodda's Boreal Staff come from the specific encounters with Teethnasher the Frostbound, Iceheart, and Drodda of Icereach, respectively.

Running Direfrost Keep on normal gives blue-quality items while running it on veteran mode gives purple-quality.
