1. Valkyn Skoria

The Valkyn Skoria monsterset is pretty popular among magicka DPS players—for obvious reasons. There are only two pieces in this set, making it easy to obtain, and the benefits are always worth the leg-work. Having both items in this set unlocks a decent health bonus and gives the player an 8% chance every five seconds to summon a flaming meteor that strikes their target for over 13k damage when "marked" with a damage over time effect. The helm drops from the City of Ash II dungeon on Veteran mode while the shoulders will come from Redbeard's Chest in the Undaunted camp by using a pledge key.

2. Earthgore

Another monsterset, primarily for healers. Earthgore also only has two pieces and works wonders for templar supports. The first bonus adds 4% healing and the second creates a pool of blood under your target which removes all negative effects and heals the lowest health ally around for 30000 Health over 6 seconds. This effect can occur every 35 seconds and only when you heal an ally who is under 50% health. The helm can be found by running veteran Bloodroot Forge in Craglorn and the shoulders drop from Urgarlag's chest in the Undaunted camp. Pair this with Julianos or Desert Rose and you're all set.

3. Pirate Skeleton

Here's a set for tanks. Pirate Skeleton is a monster set that helps buffs you up against just about everything. Having one piece of this set grants you two rewards: physical and spell resistance. Its second effect gives you a 6% chance to turn into a skeleton every time you take damage. As a skeleton, you gain Major Protection and Major Defile for 10 seconds which reduces your healing gained by 15% while also reducing your damage received by 30%. The helm drops from veteran Blackheart Haven and the shoulders can also come from Redbeard's chest.

4. Robes of Transmutation

Robes of Transmutation (RoT) are a little easier to earn. All you need to do to get this set is play some PvP on your favorite server and completing faction quests. You'll start getting "Rewards of the Worthy"—which contain pieces of this set. RoT has five pieces total which all add some sort of magicka recovery or spell critical bonus. Its proc effect is granting 1304 Critical Resistance for 20 seconds to either yourself or an ally you heal.

5. Desert Rose

Desert Rose is another light armor set you can acquire from "Rewards of the Worthy". It has five pieces granting spell resistance, health and magicka. Its proc effect is giving you a 15% chance to recover 2408 magicka every time you take damage. This effect can only occur once every four seconds, however. You can also get this set from the elite gear vendor in Cyrodiil when your faction takes Cropsford.
