Coming in at fifth place on our list is Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Ronald Jones II. Ronald Jones II does not have the best overall grade at at 76 however, he's a dynamic running back that can make plays in space due to him having a 93 rating in speed , agility and acceleration. Jones II top end speed and elusiveness make him versatile player in the game. Using Jones II as a return man could really showcase his quick twitch and burst.

Holding down the fourth spot on our list is Denver Broncos star running back Philip Lindsay. The second-year back broke onto the scene in his rookie year racking up over 1,000 yards on the ground. In Madden 20 he wields an 86 overall rating making him the highest rated running back on this list. Lindsay bolsters a 93 overall speed along with being 90 or better in both agility and acceleration making him one of the most balanced backs in the game. As we can see in the video above Philip Lindsay is still giving players nightmares in Madden 20.

Indianapolis Colt's running back Nyheim Hines comes onto our list at number three. Hines is the final 93 speed rating we will see on this list. Hines was able to make it so high on our list because of the way he fuses speed, and acceleration. At 93 speed and 93 acceleration it does not take long for Hines to get going. If you find daylight with Hines touting the football there is always a chance he will be in the end zone for six points.

Our second place trophy goes to San Francisco 49ers running back Tevin Coleman. With his 94 speed rating it is almost impossible to catch him when he breaks off a long run. Coleman is hard to stop in space thanks to his 91 rating in juke moves and his 97 in agility. Not only is Coleman hard to catch he is hard to tackle as well. This combination of speed, agility, and elusiveness make Coleman a game breaker. Coleman also has the third highest overall rating of the running backs on this list at 81.

Taking home the trophy and numer one spot is Tevin Coleman's running mate Matt Breida. October 7, 2019 Breida rushed for a top speed of 22 mph on a touchdown run against the Cleveland Browns. Matt Breida clocked the fastest speed for a NFL player in a game over the last two years. It did not take long before the developers of Madden 20 got ahold of this information. With a whopping 95 speed rating and our second highest overall grade on this list at 84, Matt Breida is the fast running back in Madden currently. Not only is Breida our fastest running back on this list he is also our strongest with a 71 overall strength grade. If you allow Matt Breida to reach the second level of your defense there is a good chance you'll find him in the end zone. Good luck trying to call a defense containing this lighting in a bottle running back. Below is a video by Madden youtuber "Jeromepkr" wreaking havoc with Matt Breida at running back.
