FIFA 20 Future Stars: 5 Players Likely to Receive a Promotional Card
By Max Mallow
FIFA 20 Future Stars is one of the most anticipated promotions of the FIFA Ultimate Team cycle.
First introduced in FIFA 19, Future Stars gives up-and-coming players in international football monster cards shifting the meta and opening up squad building opportunities.
The inaugural promotion was considered the best promotion in the game, so FIFA 20's edition has plenty to live up to.
FIFA 20 Future Stars: 5 Players Likely to Receive a Promotional Card
Here are five players expected to be included in the Future Stars promotion:
Erling Haaland
Erling Haaland is arguably already a star. He tore up the Champions League group stage on Red Bull Salzburg and scored a hat-trick off the bench in his debut for Borussia Dortmund. He's at the top of everyone's wish list for Future Stars.
Gabriel Martinelli
The 18-year-old Brazilian has taken Arsenal by storm this season. He's already scored 10 goals in all competitions including a breakaway goal against Chelsea to help the Gunners secure a 2-2 draw with 10 men.
Mason Greenwood
Mason Greenwood is one of the brightest prospects at Manchester United. Fans want to see the English player get more game time, and a Future Stars card should get him more game time in FIFA 20 as well.
William Saliba
Another Arsenal player, despite being on loan at ASSE, is primed to receive a Future Stars card. The French defender is one of the top defensive prospects in the world. He looks to join the likes of Dayot Upamecano and Ferland Mendy as French Future Stars beasts.
Rodrygo
What would Future Stars be without a Real Madrid Brazilian? Vinicius Junior was the highest rated and one of the best from last year's promotion. Rodrygo was rumored to receive a FUTMAS card, but it never came to fruition. Future Stars is the right time to award him a special card.
