FIFA 21 Community Team of the Season Predictions: 5 Players Who Should Get in
By Max Mallow
FIFA 21 Community Team of the Season is rapidly approaching after leaks suggested that the promotion would kick off April 23.
Team of the Season is the biggest promotion content wise each year in FIFA Ultimate Team. The best performing players from the past year of soccer receive major upgrades over the course of multiple weeks. Rumors suggest that the event is scheduled to start April 23. If those leaks hold true, the first squad released should be the Community, or most consistent, squad.
This squad contains the best performing players from multiple leagues who had good seasons, but didn't receive a Team of the Week item all year long. It's the only TOTS squad to have players from multiple leagues outside of the Ultimate TOTS squad at the end of the promotion.
FIFA 21 Community Team of the Season Predictions: 5 Players Who Should Get in
Here are five favorites to be in the FIFA 21 Community TOTS squad:
1. Sergio Busquets - CDM - Barcelona
It wouldn't be a Community TOTS squad without Busquets. It feels like he's a staple of the squad considering his role rarely allows him to shine through as a TOTW card. He already received a Moments SBC this year, but this TOTS item should exceed it in terms of stats.
2. Ilkay Gundogan - CM - Manchester City
Manchester City is on the verge of yet another Premier League title, and the unsung hero has been Gundogan. He stepped up when the team needed him to and is a two-time PL Player of the Month winner. Now, it's unknown if those will come to play a part in Gundogan being part of the Community TOTS. If not, he's a shoe-in for the Premier League squad. EA Sports bends the rules with promotional squads, so who knows at the end of the day.
3. Gianluigi Donnarumma - GK - AC Milan
Donnarumma has been a vital part of AC Milan challenging for this year's Scudetto. The 22-year-old keeper has only received a Record Breaker card this year, making him a prime option for this squad.
4. Luka Modric - CM - Real Madrid
Real Madrid fans know how important Modric and Toni Kroos are to the midfield. They've been staples in the team for years now. Modric only received a FUT Birthday card this year, so he should be a likely choice for the Community TOTS squad.
5. Marcel Sabitzer - CM - RB Leipzig
Sabitzer is one of the most promising midfielders in the world. He's bagged seven goals and two assists during this year's Bundesliga campaign. He should eclipse last year's goal tally of nine by the end of the season as well.
