FIFA 21 Premier League Team of the Season Predictions: 5 Players Who Should Get in
By Max Mallow
FIFA 21 Premier League Team of the Season predictions are coming in as fans expect the event to start April 23 following leaks suggesting that release date.
Team of the Season is the most exciting time of the FIFA Ultimate Team calendar. It is the promotion that has the most content considering how many promotional squads, objectives and SBCs are released. The Premier League is traditionally the first top five league released in packs following the Community TOTS squad.
There are some immediate guarantees for this squad when thinking about the likes of Bruno Fernandes, Kevin De Bruyne, Mohamed Salah, Harry Kane, Heung-min Son and others. But, who are the players that should get in considering their seasons?
FIFA 21 Premier League Team of the Season Predictions: 5 Players Who Should Get in
Here are five players that should get into the FIFA 21 Premier League TOTS squad:
1. Tomas Soucek - CDM - West Ham United
No one predicted West Ham United to be in the position they are in as the season starts to near its end. Instead of challenging for a Champions League spot, fans thought they were getting relegated. One man that's been pivotal in the team's performances in Soucek. He's received three in-forms this season and should get a monster card.
2. Luke Shaw - LB - Manchester United
Manchester United's Luke Shaw has reached new heights this season. After buying Alex Telles from Porto, fans wondered who would step up and make the position their own. Shaw has turned it on in the second half of the season and is now one of the first names on the team sheet.
3. Ruben Dias - CB - Manchester City
A common critique of Manchester City since Vincent Kompany left is who would take over and be that stalwart at the back. The answer came in the form of Ruben Dias who was purchased from Benfica. The Portuguese defender has been that final piece of City's dominant back line.
4. Emiliano Martinez - GK - Aston Villa
Arsenal had a goalkeeper problem at the end of last season. Bernd Leno went down with an injury at Brighton and Emiliano Martinez stepped up between the posts winning the FA Cup and Community Shield. Arsenal went with Leno as the long-term option selling Martinez to Aston Villa. Despite Villa falling in the table toward the end of the season, Martinez has cemented himself as a top five keeper in the league.
5. Bukayo Saka - RW - Arsenal
Bukayo Saka is the future at the North London club. He stepped up this season and made himself one of the first names on the team sheet each week. He's also elevated the play of those around him. His Future Stars card is one of the most popular items in the game. If he's not in packs, he needs to be an objective or SBC card..
