Fortnite Save the World Skins Leaked for Battle Royale

More than one Fortnite Save the World character may be coming to Fortnite Battle Royale in the near future, according to data miners and official teasers.

Epic Games began teasing the release of a skin based on Penny, Save the World's so-called Original Constructor, earlier this week. The company published a tweet that appeared to obliquely refer to Penny. It also updated the newsfeed in Fortnite saying the original constructor would soon join the battlefield alongside an image of her silhouette -- before Penny was released into the item shop Thursday.

Some data miners also believe Kyle, another Save the World Constructor, will also appear as a skin. The Kyle skin was encrypted in Fortnite around the same time as Penny's, around two updates ago. Data miner iFireMonkey also found two slots for Save the World outfits, indicating Penny would not be the only skin released.

When Epic Games plans to add these skins to Battle Royale remains unknown. The developer hasn't made the date official, but fans expect Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 to arrive around Sept. 1.
