Fortnite Season 1 Map: Reminiscing About the Original Fortnite
By Max Mallow
Fortnite Season 1 map became a topic of reminiscence after Epic Games teased the latest season for its hit battle royale game.
Fortnite Season 1 pales in comparison to its successors, but it still has that nostalgic feel to it. The map was untouched, unchanged and the original landing zones are still fan favorites today.
With Epic Games hinting at a potential throwback season, Season 1 landing zones might make a return.
Fortnite Season 1 Map: Reminiscing About the Original Fortnite
The Fortnite Season 10 teaser, first revealed during the Fortnite World Cup, showcases an 'X' symbolizing the number 10 and Dusty Depot. An original landing zone back in Season 1, the Dusty Depot area has been changed multiple times.
First it was destroyed by meteors, then there was a dig site, then a forest. The area is ever-changing on the Fortnite map from season to season. Perhaps Epic Games is planning on reverting parts of the Fortnite map to previous seasons. Developers can only push their games further and further into the future before it becomes stale.
What's after a futuristic theme? A call-back to the past and nostalgia.
Fortnite Season 10 is set to be revealed Aug. 1.
