Fortnite Terminator Crossover Leaked Ahead of Official Release

Fortnite has collaborated with dozens of the most popular franchises and intellectual properties in the world. Anything from Marvel, God of War, The Walking Dead, John Wick, Ghostbusters, and anything in between has been fair game for Epic to include in their game. Brands have been eager to work with one of, if not the, most popular game in history, making the newest leaked collaboration come as a surprise to few.

From a leak on the PlayStation store, it seems that Fortnite’s next collaboration will be with the Terminator franchise. Specifically in the form of two skins, a Sarah Connor skin and a T-800 skin. Assuming these leaks to be true, the new skins fit in well with the current theme of Fortnite “hunters.” The T-800 is hunting down Sarah Connor in the first film, and in later films Sarah Connor becomes something of a hunter herself, leading the resistance.

Epic has not confirmed the leak, or when the skins would be coming to the game. However, the fact that these were on the Playstation store for all to see makes it reasonable to believe that they will be coming out sooner rather than later.

These particular skins seem to feature the younger Sarah Connor from Terminator 2. This is the iconic look that most Terminator fans know for Sarah Connor, featuring sunglasses and an all-black outfit. The T-800 is the skinless version, featured in many Terminator films, but most prominently in the original Terminator. It is possible though, that this skin will have transitional unlocks like many other skins. This would likely depend on whether or not Epic and the owners of Terminator have the rights to use Arnold Schwarzenegger’s likeness. Regardless of rights issues, a version of the T-800 will be available for use by players in the near future.
