S Tier

Skye's Assault Rifle: The best AR within the game deals high damage along with a fast fire rate. Assault Rifles are typically the best flexible weapons in Fortnite, allowing for players to be versatile in their positioning while still packing a punch; this weapon is the best at that.

Tactical Shotgun: Players opting for a quicker, flashy style of Fortnite play can utilize the Tactical Shotgun to their advantage. With a magazine size of eight shells and DPS of 130.5, this weapon will continue to blast enemies away.

Midas' Drum Gun: With superb firepower and high fire rate, Midas' Drum Gun will allow you to win almost every gun fight within a close-to-medium range. Being a drum gun with a gargantuan magazine size, this weapon can still fire while your enemies are reloading. It can also take out their cover more rapidly.

Legendary Scar: What was once the game's most formidable AR has since been surpassed. Nonetheless, the Legendary Scar still packs heat with a DPS of 198 and quick reload time. It will irrefutably melt your enemies away.

Burst Assault Rifle: The Burst AR in Fortnite is a great weapon of choice, dealing a DPS of 162 while still dealing 33 damage to players and buildings. While the burst option might turn some players away, it will certainly aid those with controllable recoil and saving magazine loads.
