Gathering reeds for the Blowgun Ghost of Tsushima is a very important part of a mission in the game.

Ghost of Tsushima follows the story of a samurai called Jin Sakai, whose village was destroyed by Khotun Khan and the Mongols. Now, Jin must abandon honor and respect he was taught during his training to take revenge on his enemies.

Gather Reeds for the Blowgun in Ghost of Tsushima: Best Way to Gather Reeds

As a part of the game, Jin Sakai obtains and learns how to use different types of weapons. Players start out with just his katana, but will earn more advanced weaponry later on.

One of the weapons in the game is the Blowgun, which allows Jin to kill Mongols from far away. It is obtained during Act 2 of the Main Quest in a mission called, 'Ghosts from the Past.'

In order to get the Blowgun, players must simply collect reeds and bring them to Yuriko. Reeds can be found all around Tsushima and players must simply approach them to interact with them. It would probably be easiest to gather the reeds near Yuriko's workshop, which is located on the north side of the island.
