Genshin Impact Crimson Agate Locations
By Andrew Lin
Genshin Impact Crimson Agate Locations will be good to know if you want to level up your Frostbearing Tree quickly. You'll need 80 to get the Northlander Prototype Polearm, but you don't need to struggle to look for them all.
Genshin Impact Crimson Agate Locations
Like the elemental Oculi you find in the game's other regions, the Crimson Agate will appear on your map with a crystal-shaped icon. Unlike the Oculi, you can also get these from chests that don't appear on the map. This makes it so you don't need to find all of the hidden Crimson Agate on the map.
If you're exploring the map thoroughly as you play the Chalk Prince event, you'll likely find most of the Crimson Agate. You'll get about 70 from normal gameplay. Go after them as soon as you see them pop up on the map.
If you want to be extremely thorough, you can use an interactive map like this one made by Gamewith. Most likely, you've grabbed a lot by now and the map isn't too helpful unless you want to go one by one. Most likely, the ones you're missing are from puzzles.
You can also get Crimson Agate from chests, so be sure you get them as soon as you see them. The chests with Agate inside have a red glow around them. These chests seem to be random, so you might complete 80 Crimson Agate sooner than later if you're lucky. There's a special lance you can craft with items found around Dragonspine, so the free Northlander Prototype Polearm finishes off the package for exploring the area.
You also want 80 to unlock the Crimson Wish mechanic, which gives you a source of Crimson Agate every Monday and Friday. From here, you don't need to worry about scouring the mountain for the last few pieces. You can just earn them from encounters to finish leveling the tree.
Each tier needs 10 Crimson Agate to advance. Notable rewards include Acquaint and Intertwined Fates, the Frostbearer Catalyst Recipe and a Crown of Insight. Maxing out the Tree gets you a special Glider skin.
