Genshin Impact Kamisato Ayato Speculated for Release

Kamisato Ayato has been introduced into the Genshin Impact lore along with his sister, Kamisato Ayaka.

Ayato is not an officially released character that will be playable. Yet various information leans to the possibility of Ayato joining Genshin Impact, or at least make an appearance during the story quest.

With four characters being released at once on the official Genshin Impact Twitter account, we are absolutely overwhelmed with the information that miHoYo has been providing.

During this chaos, Ayato has sneaked into the Teyvat world along with the four characters-officially yet unofficially. Here are some footsteps he has left.

Kamisato Ayato and Kamisato Ayaka

It is obvious from their names that Ayato and Ayaka are siblings. Ayaka's lore mentions Ayato twice. What we can know from this is that Ayato is the current head of the Kamisato clan, and the siblings have divided themselves with different responsibilities. Ayato is in charge of government affairs while Ayaka watches over the clan's internal and external affairs.

One of her voicelines also mentions Ayato. This is how it goes: "About Ayato... If my brother were to fallen then I would ascend the role of Shabukyo. Oh... If you see him, remind him to take care of himself. For his sister's sake." It seems that the sibling has a pretty strong bond even if they cannot be together too often. It is heartwarming to see Ayaka care for her brother.

Kamisato Ayato and Sayu

Sayu is one of the new playable characters coming to Genshin Impact with her release date to be released. Ayato is the one who introduces her by saying "Are you in a hurry to find Sayu? She is usually hiding in the trees in the afternoons. I have my own ways of finding her, so let me know if you need help." From this, we can suspect that Ayato and Sayu are close friends or comrades at least.

From what we know, Sayu is Shiyummatsu-Ban's Resistent Ninja. How she relates to Ayato, the head of a clan, is debatable, but is probably related to governmental issues considering that she is a Resistent Ninja.

We cannot say for sure that Ayato will be playable in the near future. Yet considering that he has been introduced in a special voice line, and has been quoted in twitter, players can only hope that Ayato will make an appearance. Since he is more of a brain character as a governmental character, we can imagine him appearing with skillsets similar to Barbara or Lisa.
