Here's how to build Yoimiya in Genshin Impact.

Yoimiya, also known as the Frolicking Flames, is a pyrotechnician at Naganohara Fireworks in Genshin Impact. She's a 5-Star Pyro Bow user who was first available in Genshin Impact Version 2.1, and became available again in Version 2.8. As a Main DPS, Yoimiya specializes in dealing large amounts of Elemental damage when on the field, and here are the best Talents, Artifacts, Weapons, and Team Compositions to use with her.

Genshin Impact Yoimiya Build Guide

Yoimiya's Elemental Skill converts all of her Normal Attack arrows into Blazing Arrows that deal Pyro DMG, while her Elemental Burst strikes enemies with a bunch of fireworks that deal AoE Pyro DMG, and mark enemies so that they'll explode once hit by another party member. As a Main DPS, players are going to want to level up Yoimiya's Normal Attack first, then her Elemental Skill, followed lastly by her Elemental Burst.

Yoimiya's best Artifact set is a 4-Piece Shimenawa's Resistance. This artifact set increases ATK by 18%, then increases ATK by 50% when using Normal/Charged/Plunged attacks for 10 seconds (at the cost of Energy). This artifact set is perfect for Main DPS units that don't rely on their Elemental Burst, making it a great choice for Yoimiya. For Artifact stats, players should use an ATK% Sands, Pyro DMG Bonus Goblet, and CRIT Rate or DMG Circlet. All of her Artifact sub-stats should prioritize Crit DMG, Crit Rate, ATK%, and Energy Recharge.

Yoimiya's best-in-slot weapon is the 5-Star Bow "Thundering Pulse", which increases Crit DMG, and grants stacks of increased ATK% for Normal Attacks and Normal Attacks with Elemental Skills, making it perfectly suited to Yoimiya's kit. However, for players that don't have the Thundering Pulse, they can substitute it for any Main DPS Bow, like Rust, Polar Star, Aqua Simulacra, and more.

For team compositions, since Yoimiya needs to be on field to deal most of her damage, you're going to want to pair her with several strong Sub-DPS and Support units that can help her proc Elemental Reactions. For strong Vaporize Reactions, players should pair her with a Hydro Sub-DPS like Yelan or Xingqiu. Adding another Pyro Support (like Thoma or Bennet) can give the team an ATK bonus from the Pyro team synergy, and a final extra unit to proc additional reactions like Yunjin or Kazuha is a great choice.
