Ghost of Tsushima Armor List
Broken Armor
- How to Get: Default
You start the game with the Broken Armor. As the default armor, it offers no real benefit and will quickly be replaced by the next set you get your hands on.
Traveler's Attire
- How to Get: Given to you by the first Merchant you speak to
The Traveler's Attire also doesn't offer additional protection, but it will notify you of nearby items like Artifacts and Vanity Gear by vibrating your controller. The frequency of the vibrations increase the closer you get to them. Your Guiding Wind will be able to ping those items as well with the armor on. You also clear more fog of war as you explore with the Traveler's Attire on, letting you see more of the map for side activities.
Samurai Clan Armor
- How to Get: Given to you by Masako during The Tale of Masaoko
This is likely the first real set of armor you get. With the Samurai Clan Armor on, your max health is increased. In battle, you take reduced damage from enemies and getting hit increases your resolve.
Ronin Armor
- How to Get: Complete Blood on the Grass
If the Samurai Clan Armor is made for combat, the Ronin Armor is made for stealth. It increases your attack damage and stealth, making it more difficult for enemies to spot you. You also get perk that enemies notice you slower after you emerge from pampas grass, letting you infiltrate easier.
Tadayori's Armor
- How to Get: Complete The Legend of Tadayori Mythic Tale
Tadayori's Armor specializes in Bow skills. Your draw and reload speed gets a nice boost, and you'll get longer time for Concentration. Landing headshots with Tadayori's Armor also refills Concentration, letting you chain kills at range.
Gosaku's Armor
- How to Get: Complete The Unbreakable Gosaku Mythic Tale
This armor is for aggressive playstyles. You get increased Stagger and some health back when you kill a Staggered enemy. With Gosaku's Armor, you'll want to hammer down heavy blows to break through your opponent's guards. This Armor works best once you have all four stances unlocked.
Kensei Armor
- How to Get: Complete The Six Blades of Kojiro Mythic Tale
Kensei Armor gives a boost to your Ghost Weapons. Not only do Ghost Weapons do more damage, they debuff their targets by increasing the damage dealt to them and decreasing the damage they deal to you. You also get an increase to gaining Resolve.
Sakai Clan Armor
- How to Get: Given during Ghosts from the Past at the beginning of Act 2
The Sakai Clan Armor is all about intimidation. You get a buff to melee damage and increased health. You also get an increase to your Standoff Streak, letting you cut down multiple enemies in the beginning of the encounter. Upgrading this Armor to end will let you streak five kills to the Standoff. You also get to terrify enemies after completing a Standoff.
Ghost Armor
- Hot to Get: Start From the Darkness
This armor is the ultimate stealth build. It reduces the enemy's detection speed and the number of kills to use Ghost Stance. True to its name, it will also give you a chance to terrify enemies just by being near them.
Mongol Commander's Armor
- How to Get: Complete Fit for the Khan
Ever wanted to use the shiny gold armor the Mongol Leaders use? This hulking set of Mongol Commander's Armor gives you a huge boost to defense and health. This armor also acts as a disguise tool, greatly reducing the enemy's detection speed. Dresses as a Commander, you can waltz right into an enemy camp.
Fundoshi
- How to Get: Find all 18 Hot Springs
If you get all of the Hot Springs, you'll unlock this special set of Armor. Rather, you'll take off all your armor and be able to run around with just traditional underwear on. There is a benefit to this gag armor: you're totally silent while moving (no armor to clang).
