Ghost of Tsushima Legend Ranks Explained

Ghost of Tsushima Legend ranks are a type of level progression system inside the game.

As players make their way through Tsushima island, liberating villages and taking out sections of Mongol invaders, Sucker Punch has made sure they won't go unrewarded for their efforts. Every time Jin completes a quest, takes down an enemy, clears a camp, base, or town, his Legend will grow. Essentially, this is just another way of saying his notoriety increases throughout the story.

Ghost of Tsushima Legend Ranks

Every legend rank-up comes with a certain reward. Usually, this reward has to do with increasing Jin's vitality or the array of weapons that are available to use. Each time the player ranks up, they get a technique point to spend on another one of Jin's samurai skills.

The Legend ranks and their corresponding rewards in Ghost of Tsushima are:

1. The Broken Samurai
2. The Wandering Samurai—health cap increase + kunai unlocks
3. The People’s Hope—health cap increase + new Ghost weapon
4. The Unyielding Wind—Resolve increase + health cap increase + new Ghost weapon
5. The Shadow Samurai—health cap increase + new Ghost weapon
6. The Hero of Tsushima—health cap increase + new Ghost weapon
7. The Avenging Guardian—health cap increase
8. The Phantom Samurai—health cap increase
