Golurk Pokemon GO: How to Catch

Golurk Pokemon GO has been in the game for about a year.
Niantic Labs was quick to catch up their in-game PokeDex to that of the mainstream games around this time in 2019. Golurk is one such example. Trainers were able to encounter Golurk for the first time during Pokemon GO's PokeDex expansion event, A Unova Unveiling, that ran on Sept. 16, 2019. Fortunately, this means that there's plenty of opportunities to add Golurk to your team.

Golurk Pokemon GO: How to Catch
Trainers can likely find Golurk where both ground and dark or ghost-types can be found. Often, ground-types in open fields, valleys, beaches, and even airports with flying-types. Dark and ghost-types can be found in urban settings primarily around or after dusk.
If Golurk isn't spawning, be sure to keep an eye out for its pre-evolved form, Golett. Trainers can evolve Golett into Golurk by using 50 candies.
Golurk is a ground and ghost-type Pokemon that is the evolved form of Golett. Also known as the Automaton Pokemon, Golurk is best known for being an ancient protector of those that brought it to life. According to its PokeDex entry from Pokemon Black, "removing the seal on its chest makes its internal energy go out of control." Its PokeDex number is 623.
