Halo Infinite BR75 Nerf Explained
Halo Infinite’s Winter Update is here! This update was brought into the game on Nov. 8 and focused on balancing weapons as well as creating new Achievements with Campaign Network Co-Op and Mission Replay.
Having been a year since Halo Infinite was released in November 2021, 343 Industries is still working on creating the best combat experience. Though some guns might be naturally better than others, it is still important to make sure that none of the weapon mechanics are not putting players at an unfair advantage or disadvantage.
In the past, there has been some controversy surrounding the BR75 Battle Rifle. First introduced in Halo 2, the BR75 Battle Rifle has been a popular weapon amongst players due to its versatility and burst fire.
However, at times in the new game, this weapon can be seen as overpowered for its precision accuracy and high damage output. As a result, in Halo Infinite’s Winter Update, the BR75 Battle Rifle has received multiple nerfs in order to even the battlefield.
