Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 is rapidly approaching with a new Battle Pass, loot pool, and theme as fans say goodbye to Fortnite Underground. In the aftermath of Jonesy's daring rescue of Peely, ancient powers are set to take over the island, bringing Greek mythology-inspired weapons, cosmetics, and quests to Epic Games' Battle Royale. Although leaks revealed the upcoming Battle Pass skins and even a bit of the season's lore, they have not mentioned any POI or weapon changes...until now.

Here's Which OG Weapon is Coming Back in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2

The OG Tactical Shotgun is coming back in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2. After dominating play in Fortnite OG, the beloved weapon is making a return in the Greek-mythology themed season.

Reliable Fortnite leaker, HYPEX, revealed Epic Games has been playtesting a Tac Shotgun with impressive damage statistics. According to the leak, the shotgun, at most, can do 145 headshot damage, all-but securing an elimination if the player is already weak. Even at worst, the shotgun is said to do 119 headshot damage, which is still much better than the options in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1.

The upcoming Tac will have six bullets, with a reload time of 4.2s to 3.6s. The gun will reload the entire clip at once, so make sure you have an SMG handy in case you run out of bullets in a chaotic fight.

Epic Games has not confirmed the return of the Tac Shotgun just yet, so the upcoming weapon pool is subject to change before the release of Chapter 5 Season 2.
