A player's account level in Fortnite is the combined levels from past seasons players have unlocked in Fortnite.

If the current season of Fortnite, Chapter 3 Season 4, is a player's second season playing, and they are at a battle pass level of 34 you can find their account level by adding 34 to their previous battle pass level from last season.

Account levels are a way of tracking your success in Fortnite since the game launched. While a player's battle pass level can give you an idea of how good they are, their account level will give you a look at how long they have been playing the game.

How to Earn Account Levels in Fortnite

Earning account levels is as simple as playing the game. All players have to do is earn XP and level up their level in the current season of Fortnite.

This does not mean players need to purchase the battle pass or unlock items in the battle shop, all they have to do is play the game and complete challenges to earn XP.
