How to Evolve Eevee into Glaceon in Pokemon Legends: Arceus

Glaceon was introduced in Generation IV alongside its species cousin and fellow Eevee-lution, Leafeon. Also known as the "Fresh Snow" Pokemon, Glaceon has the ability to lower its body temperature at the drop of a hat. Doing this may also freeze the atmosphere around it, creating snow flurries and fresh snowfall. Its Hisuiam PokeDex number is #032.

How to Evolve Eevee into Glaceon

Eevee will evolve into Glaceon when exposed to an Ice Stone evolutionary item or if brought to the physical Icy Rock in the Hisui region.

Fans may remember the Icy Rock from Pokemon (Brilliant) Diamond and (Shining) Pearl just outside of Snowpoint City--the northernmost settlement in the Sinnoh region. Beyond the peaks of Mt. Coronet, this frozen stone covered in ice was the only way to prompt an Eevee to evolve into a Glaceon. Later, as more generations were published, the Ice Stone evolutionary item was introduced to allow trainers outside of Sinnoh to obtain a Glaceon. This has persisted through to Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

The Icy Rock can be found in the Alabaster Icelands--surprise! It rests between Avalugg's Legacy and Bonechill Wastes. Trainers will likely be able to spot it outright but, for those who may need a bit of help, we'll explain that it essentially looks like a jagged, broken piece of a glacier.

To evolve Eevee using the Icy Rock, simply bring an Eevee to the spot. As trainers approach and go to touch the stone, the Eevee will become eligible for evolution. No further requirements are necessary to evolve Eevee this way.

Eevee will also evolve into Glaceon if trainers expose it to an Ice Stone. These items can be purchased outright from the Trading Post along with other methods which we've outlined in our Evolutionary Item guide.
