How to evolve Glameow in Pokémon Legends: Arceus is something that many trainers are looking to do at the moment in order to obtain a Purugly.

For as long as Pokémon has been around, there have been some creatures that have special requirements before they undergo an evolution — Glameow is not one of those creatures.

Here's a breakdown of how to evolve Glameow in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

How to Evolve Glameow in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, there are a wide variety of evolution methods depending on the Pokémon species in question.

While some call for a specific evolution stone (e.g. Murkow), the vast majority of Pokémon evolutions in this game just simply require trainers to reach certain criteria such as leveling them up to a certain threshold.

To evolve Glameow into Purugly in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, trainers simply need to get them to Level 38.

By evolving the Catty Pokémon into the Tiger Cat Pokémon, Glameow will receive boosts across the board in its HP, Attack, Special Attack, Defense, Special Defense, and Speed.

Purugly can also be found simply at Cobalts Coastlands (Crossing Slope, Veilstone Cape) and
Alabaster Icelands (Glacier Terrace), with its Alpha version exclusively being located at Veilstone Cape.

As a Normal-Type Pokémon, Purugly is more vulnerable against Fighting-type moves, but is able to hold its own better against stronger against Ghost-type moves.
