How to Evolve Roselia in Pokemon Legends: Arceus
By Jack O'Dwyer
Trainers in Pokemon Legends: Arceus are wondering how to evolve Roselia into Roserade.
Like many Pokemon in Generation IV, Roselia gained a brand new form when brought over to the Sinnoh region. In fact, it got two—a pre-evolved form and a secondary evolved form—transforming it from a single-form species to a full-fledged evolutionary family. In Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Roselia has kept its forms and evolutions, and all three can be encountered in the Hisui region.
Below, we’ve explained how to evolve Roselia.
How to Evolve Roselia in Pokemon Legends: Arceus
Roselia can be evolved into Roserade when shown a Shiny Stone.
There is no friendship, level, or time of day requirement needed to prompt evolution. All trainers need is to do is present a Shiny Stone to Roselia whenever they’re ready to evolve it.
Trainers can purchase Shiny Stones from the Trading Post in Jubilife Village for 1000 Merit Points. They can also be harvested from ore nodes, drop from Space-Time Rifts, and be found while riding on Ursaluna. These latter three methods are random, however, and any evolutionary stone can be found by those methods.
Also known as the “Thorn” Pokemon, Roselia was originally introduced in Generation III and was thought to be exclusively native to the Hoenn region. Its thorns hold a devastating toxin and, in some regions, they used to be given to one’s rival to challenge them to a duel.
Its evolved form, Roserade, is known as the “Bouquet” Pokemon. In the center of each of its roses it holds coiled vines tipped with its previous form’s poison. Roserade will “move gracefully as it corners its prey and mercilessly lashes them with its whips.“
Roselia evolves from Budew with high enough friendship. More information about evolving Budew can be found in our companion article on the subject.
