Knowing how to get zero ping in Fortnite is the dream for players looking to experience absolutely no delay between when they execute a command and when that command is reflected in-game. Hitting a perfect zero ping is essentially impossible, but there are plenty of ways to get your ping lower.

Here's how to get your ping as low as possible when playing Fortnite.

How to Get 0 Ping in Fortnite (or As Close As Possible)

The first step in minimizing your ping is to make sure you're on the game server closest to your machine. You can change your server by going into Fortnite's settings, selecting Game, and changing your Matchmaking Region to whatever is closest to you.

Next, and perhaps most importantly, you'll want to use a wired connection for your internet. Wireless will always be slower than wired.

Finally, try to play when no one else is using your network, and close any background tasks that might be using the internet without your knowledge using the Task Manager.
