How to Get Buster Sword Heirloom in Apex Legends
The Apex Legends x Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth event offers fans the chance to get the Buster Sword Heirloom in Respawn Entertainment's Battle Royale.
Respawn Entertainment and Square Enix are teaming up to bring a legendary crossover event to Apex Legends. Not only are Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth-inspired skins coming for Wattson, Crypto, and Wraith, but Cloud's Buster Sword is also debuting in Apex Legends. The new weapon will be available around the map and in Care Packages with unique gameplay abilities, and also become available as an Heirloom for a limited-time.
Here's how to get the Buster Sword Heirloom in the Apex Legends x Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth event.
How to Get Buster Sword Heirloom in Apex Legends
To get the Buster Sword Heirloom in Apex Legends, you must obtain one from an event pack. Fans will find all 36 new items, including the Buster Sword Heirloom, in the Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth event packs. Although the rewards will be randomized, no pack will contain a duplicate; eventually, you will open an event pack that contains the Buster Sword Heirloom.
The new method is a nice change from having to unlock every cosmetic in an event to obtain an Heirloom. Now, you can open the Buster Sword before obtaining all 36 items in the Apex Legends x Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth event.
Even if you are not a huge Final Fantasy fan, you will still want to unlock the Buster Sword Heirloom. The Mythic Melee is a universal cosmetic that can be equipped in place of another Heirloom or your fists on any Legend.
Will the Buster Sword Heirloom be in the Mythic Shop?
No, the Buster Sword Heirloom will not be in the Mythic Shop after the event ends. If you want to get your hands on the Heirloom, you must do so in the event. Players will have three weeks to open the Buster Sword Heirloom before the event concludes on Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024.
