How to Get Cobalt Katar Heirloom in Apex Legends
As soon as the Shadow Society event starts, fans can get the Cobalt Katar Heirloom in Apex Legends.
The Apex Legends Shadow Society event is taking over Respawn Entertainment's Battle Royale. The limited-time in-game event features everything from a new LTM to multiple Legendary skins. Plus, the developers released numerous Legend, weapon, and map changes in the Shadow Society event patch notes. The best release of the event, though, is the new Cobalt Katar Heirloom.
Here's how to unlock the Cobalt Katar Heirloom in Apex Legends.
How to Get Cobalt Katar Heirloom in Apex Legends
To get the Cobalt Katar Heirloom in Apex Legends, you must unlock all 36 limited-time cosmetics in the Apex Legends Shadow Society event. If you purchase all the event's packs, you will then automatically receive the Cobalt Katar Heirloom.
Like the Buster Sword, the Cobalt Katar is a universal Heirloom, meaning any Legend can equip the Mythic Melee after it is unlocked. The weapon is also customizable.
Although there is no specific price for the Cobalt Katar yet, reliable Apex Legends leaker, KralRindo revealed that unlocking and fully customizing the Heirloom could cost almost $700.
If you would rather purchase the Cobalt Katar with 150 Heirloom Shards, you must wait for the weapon to arrive in the Mythic Store once the event ends on Apr. 16, 2024.
What are Apex Artifacts in Apex Legends? Answered
Apex Artifacts are the new title for universal Heirlooms in Apex Legends: Breakout. The Mythic Melee cosmetics can be wielded by any Legend in the game, unlike traditional Heirlooms that are Legend-specific.
Fans can expect the developers to release more Apex Artifacts throughout the season and beyond. For now, though, it makes sense that the Cobalt Katar is the first Apex Artifact to be released in the new season after Lifeline wielded it in the Apex Legends Season 20 trailer.
Stay tuned for more Heirloom and Apex Artifact updates as the season unfolds.
