How to hurdle in Madden 20 is important for those wanting to dominate from the RB position. When playing Madden 20, the latest release in EA's classic football sim, there is no better feeling than putting the moves on an unsuspecting opponent. While stiff arms, jukes, and spins are the perfect way to rub in a long TD run, there is no blow to your opponents ego greater than hurtling one of their defensive backs on your way to the end zone.

While many look to just complete deep passes and accelerate as much as they can, learning how to hurdle is an essential weapon in your ground game arsenal.

In order to hurdle, you must be running with the ball, and be approaching a defender looking to make a tackle. To hurdle over this player, press the "Y" button on your Xbox controller or "Triangle" button on your PS4 controller to jump over the incoming defender. This must be timed right, however, as hurdling too early or too late could mean an instant down for your offense.

When executing a hurdle play, it's best to get the ball to the most agile player on your offense, usually a wide receiver or running back. Guys like Todd Gurley, Odell Beckham, and Julio Jones should do the trick.
