With the introduction of the Kanto starters’ Mega-Evolved forms in Pokemon GO, many of the series’ fan-favorite monsters have followed suit with their own powered-up versions. The latest two Pokemon to receive their Mega forms in Pokemon GO are Beedrill and Pidgeot.
Mega Evolutions were introduced for select Pokemon in the Pokemon X and Y games, with more monsters gaining the ability in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.
