How to Open the Nornir Rune Chest in Goddess Falls: God of War Ragnarök

Scattered around the many realms in God of War Ragnarök are Nornir Chests. Here's how to open up the rune chest in Goddess Falls.

Nornir Chests are found all over the realms, containing valuable materials such as Idunn Apples or Horns of Blood Mead. These items will either increase Kratos' health or his Maximum Rage — both important gauges to max out for the many fights ahead.

But because these items are so valuable, cracking open the Nornir Chests requires more work. To unlock them, you'll need to find and break three runes, or Seals, located around the area near the chest. Here's how to find the runes and open the Nornir Rune Chest in Goddess Falls.

How to Open the Nornir Rune Chest in Goddess Falls

For this puzzle, players will need to light the three braziers each depicting a rune. Lighting all three will unlock the Nornir Chest. The runes bear a resemblance to the letters 'C', 'R' and 'N'.

• Rune C — Head left of the chest, across the gap and to the left of the vines. Chain Freya’s Sigil Arrows across to make a way to light the brazier.

• Rune R — To the right of the chest. Use Freya’s Sigil Arrows to chain across from the first rock to the brazier. Light them to set off a chain reaction toward the brazier.

• Rune N - To the left of the chest and to the right of the vines. The brazier is on top of the waterfall between these two spots. Chain the Sigil Arrows between the two rocks poking out of the waterfall.
