How to Play a Friend in MLB The Show 22

Got someone looking to challenge your skills in MLB The Show 22 and don't know how to invite them? Here's what to do.

Here's a breakdown of how to play with friends in MLB The Show 22.

MLB The Show 22: How to Invite Friends

First off, If you're playing someone on the same type of console, you should be good to go. Otherwise, being that this title supports full cross-platform play across PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch consoles, you'll want to make sure that your Cross Play setting is on:

• Go to My Profile tab by selecting your profile picture
• On the right side, ensure that the Cross Play option is on

From this screen, you can also add friends from other types of consoles to your in-game friends list:

• On the left side, select Friends
• Select the Request tab
• Enter their username for MLB The Show

Now, for standard 1v1 exhibition games, simply head to the My Profile tab by selecting your profile picture, select Friends, select the friend you want to play, select Invite to Exhibition Game, set your options and they will soon receive an invite.

The invite will be sent either in console notifications if both players are on the same system, or in the Game Challenges tab in the My Profile tab.

For the other modes such as Diamond Dynasty, Home Run Derby and Online Co-op, simply look for the Play vs. Friends, Play With Friends and plus symbol in each of the respective settings to invite a buddy off your friends list.
