If you are looking to host your own lobbies on PC, go to the firing range after joining up with the New Zealand player. Then, have them kick you out of the party. You should be able to create your own lobbies afterward.

To play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III early on Xbox, you must use the New Zealand trick. Xbox users can switch their console and player profile regions to New Zealand to gain early access to the title.
Here's how to change your console region on Xbox, per Microsoft:
- Sign in to your Xbox console.
- Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
- Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Language & location.
- Select your new country or region from the drop-down list under Location.
