How to Score Against the A.I. Easily in NBA 2K22 MyCareer
In NBA 2K22 MyCareer, plenty of players are getting humbled as the AI defenders seem to react perfectly to every dribble move you throw at them.
Especially for those who have yet to get enough VC to upgrade their MyPlayers, here's a breakdown of how to score against the A.I. easily in NBA 2K22 MyCareer on Current Gen and Next Gen.
How to Score Against the A.I. Easily in NBA 2K22 MyCareer
Scoring against the AI with a brand-new build is going to be tough. As seen in past 2Ks, scoring is all about speed, good animations and good attributes.
If you have yet to upgrade anything in your MyPlayer, it's probably best to make sure you like your build in the build tester, and spend a bit of VC into your Speed With Ball or Speed (depending on if you're playing on or off-ball), and Three-Point Shot or Driving Dunk.
After that, ensure that you have your desired dunk animations and jump shot equipped.
Ultimately, at least until you're able to get some more of your Badges and attribute upgrades, the main thing you can do to score against the AI is exploit screens.
If you can handle the ball, call for a screen, and if your defender gets caught on it, either pop out for a three, take it to the rim or hit your screener for a layup or three.
Something all players who can shoot can do is set up at the left or right block down low, and hit L1/LB to call for an off-ball pindown screen. If setup properly, a circle will appear where you're standing and your teammates will set you up for a wide open three at the wing.
Lastly, some other tricks for shooters are to do the jab step, pull-up jumper out of a triple threat, and simply a post fade.
If you're more of a slasher, I would try to set on-ball screens over and over until you can get an open look at the rim.
