How to Sign Up for Valorant PBE
By Samuel Purdy
How to sign up for Valorant PBE has been the question on some Valorant players' minds, especially those always on the lookout for new features and patches. Similar to Riot's League of Legends Public Beta Environment, it allows a select number of players to test and try out potential features for future patches and updates. In the blog post from Valorant, those registered for the PBE will, "be able to break in new maps, assess new Agents, and more! Better yet, we'll try to squash any pesky bugs you find along the way to ensure our shiny new content is well-tuned and (hopefully) glitch-free before it goes live." For players interested, here's how they can sign up for Valorant's PBE.
How to Sign Up for Valorant PBE
There are a few requirements players will have to meet for eligibility for Valorant's PBE. First, players' Valorant account cannot have any bans or restrictions on record, and second, the player must be in the North American region. Other than those two, players are able to sign up for the PBE. On the sign-up page, players who are interested just have to click the Apply Here button, and log in to their Riot Games account. That's all.
Of course, that doesn't mean players will be invited to become a PBE tester. Players will have to be recruited to become a PBE tester, and have early access to potential features and changes. Once players have applied, if they are recruited, they will receive a second email with more information. According to the blog post, the PBE will be looking for testers before every patch, so there will be plenty of chances in the future for eager players to have an exclusive behind-the-scenes look.
For now, players can focus on the newly released Episode 3, and the newest Agent joining the Valorant roster, KAY/O.
