How to Skip Nibelheim in FF7 Rebirth
Looking to skip Nibelheim in FF7 Rebirth? Check out the quick trick that will enable you to fast forward through Chapter 1.
Completing Final Fatnasy 7 Rebirth is no easy task. With over 100 hours of content, including 14 chapters in the main story, the new release will take up plenty of your time as soon as you dive back into Cloud's story. Fortunately, those who played the FF7 Rebirth Demo already got a head start on the game, and therefore can skip through the opening chapter since they already explored Nibelheim.
Here's a breakdown of how to skip Nibelheim in FF7 Rebirth.
How to Skip Nibelheim in FF7 Rebirth
To skip Nibelheim in FF7 Rebirth, you must have already played the chapter in the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Demo. Since you already sat through the early game tutorial and flashback, you will not have to complete the entire chapter again. Instead, before you start playing, follow these simple steps:
- Head to the game's main menu.
- Select Bonuses.
- Hit Check Saved Data.
- Collect your bonuses, including the ability to skip Nibelheim.
- Start a new game.
- Wait until you get the option to skip Nibelheim and then hit "Yes."
Unfortunately, you will still have to replay some of the chapter, including when Sephiroth attacks. However, you will not have to redo the climb, and instead can skip straight to the village.
Those who did not complete the Junon portion of the demo can still skip Nibelheim.

Nibelheim takes about two hours to complete in FF7 Rebirth. If you did not play the demo, then you must play through the somewhat slow opening chapter.
