How to Unlock New Weapons in Cult of the Lamb

Want more weapons to choose from in Cult of the Lamb? Here's what you need to know.

Massive Monster and Devolver Digital launched Cult of the Lamb on Aug. 11. Players take on the role of an innocent lamb who escapes the sacrificial altar thanks to a mysterious and onimous being. In exchange for salvation, the lamb must now build a following of worshippers and cleanse the world of non-believers.

Battling through the game's many enemies can sometimes be a challenge, especially if you haven't got many weapons to choose from. Luckily, there are ways to improve your chances. Here's what you need to know.

How to Unlock New Weapons in Cult of the Lamb

Adding new weapons to your available pool can be done via the Temple. Performing sermons and earning enough Faith will allow you to upgrade certain features via the Crown.

Opening up the Crown menu when stood at the altar will reveal a web of upgrades and paths to work through. Some nodes unlock new weapons to appear on your runs, others unlock new curses and abilities. There are also a few that will upgrade your base stats, setting you up for greater success each run.

Some weapons have certain effects, like poison or vampiric traits, all of which can be unlocked via the upgrade tree.
