How to Unlock the Flash Fishing Mini Game in Kirby and the Forgotten Land
Wondering how to unlock the Flash Fishing mini game in Kirby and the Forgotten Land? We've got you covered.
As players rescue more and more Waddle Dees in Kirby and the Forgotten Land, not only will they gradually restore Waddle Dee Town, but they'll also unlock mini games such as Flash Fishing. With the highly-anticipated action-platformer game finally out now for Nintendo Switch, here's a breakdown of how to unlock the Flash Fishing mini game in Kirby and the Forgotten Land.
Flash Fishing Mini Game Kirby and the Forgotten Land Unlock Guide
In order to unlock the Flash Fishing mini game, players simply need to unlock the Fishing Pond in Waddle Dee Town.
Unfortunately, players will need to have already saved at least 155 Waddle Dees from various stages to do so, which means players likely need to at least get to the Winter Horns area before they can play the mini game.
Flash Fishing is not only a good way to earn Star Coins, but it's also one of the easiest mini games in Kirby and the Forgotten Land.
To play, all players need to do is head over to the fishing area, have Kirby sit down, wait for button prompts like X, A, B and Y to appear and try to press them as quickly as possible.
The more players fish, the more they'll encounter more button prompts strung together in a row and larger and larger fish.
Ultimately, the goal of Flash Fishing is to fish until you can catch the largest, rarest fish.
After catching several fish in a row, players will get a chance to snag a "Big One," which grants 500 Star Coins and the Vol. 1 Fishing-Pond Kirby figure.
Kirby and the Forgotten Land was released exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on March 25, 2022.
