How to Unlock the Rytec AMR Sniper Rifle for Warzone and Modern Warfare
By Jack Cohen
Warzone's Season 4 has a new weapon—the massive Rytec AMR Sniper Rifle—that is unlockable for everyone who completes its challenge.
The weapon is listed as an anti-material rifle that has the power to tear through enemy vehicles and equipment, so just imagine the damage it will do to an operator. In short, the gun packs a punch. There are two ways to unlock the gun. The easiest is to just purchase a blueprint for it and not only will you have the new gun, but you'll receive a skin plus some attachments you won't need to unlock. The second is the challenge which is described below.
How to Unlock the Rytec AMR Sniper Rifle
To unlock the Rytec AMR Sniper Rifle, players need to get three quickscope kills using Sniper or Marksman Rifles in 15 different matches. We would recommend going into Multiplayer for this, but it's possible to do in Warzone—albeit a bit harder.
The steps are as follows:
- Create a class built for quickscoping. This means picking a weapon that can one shot and will have a decently quick ADS. Kali sticks as a secondary weapon allow for highest mobility and tactical grenades like flashes, stuns, etc. will make your targets easier to hit.
- Join fast paced, close quarter playlists like Shoot the Ship.
- Get your three kills in the match and rinse and repeat.
- Wait for your notification that you've unlocked the weapon.
If you're playing in Warzone, this will probably take much longer and will be a bit harder, but is still very doable. We'd recommend making the same loadout and getting a loadout drop as soon as possible to make the most out of those 30 minute lobbies.
Attaching a reflex sight to a sniper is an alternative if you find yourself having trouble with more traditional quickscoping methods. It's unclear whether sniper shots in the Gulag would count towards this challenge.
