How to Unlock Xiake McCree
Xiake McCree is likely a reference to Xu Xiake, a Chinese travel writer and geographer who lived during the Ming dynasty. The skin dresses McCree up in straw-like armor and a straw hat. Here's how to unlock the skin for yourself.
As has become standard in Overwatch seasonal events, Lunar New Year 2021 brings in three new skins players can unlock by completing weekly challenges. These challenges require that they win nine games of virtually any kind. Winning 3-6 games in a week can unlock player icons and sprays, but winning the ninth in any given week will unlock that week's Epic skin.
Xiake McCree will be available as the reward for completing Week 2's challenges. Week 2 of the event should run roughly Feb. 12-18.
