In Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, you can use different Force tricks to defeat enemies using a variety of Sith and Jedis. One of the most popular abilities to use as a Sith is the Force Lightning, which allows players to rain down lightning on any enemy, just like in the films, instantly damaging them.

However, can you use Force Lightning yourself in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga?

During the story, Sidious will often use Force Lightning against players, and it can be redirected by Jedi characters. However the ability is missing from the playable version of many Dark Side characters.

There are scenes in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga where you can redirect enemy Force Lightning attacks. However, those scenes only feature Emperor Palpatine, who seems to be the only character that can use this ability in the entire game.

According to the Reddit thread embedded above, you can only use Force Lightning with The Emperor by using the attack and then heavy attack button. The following are the only abilities for those on the Dark Side of the Force in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga:

  • Fear the Dark Side – Enemies and civilians will have an Increased Chance of running away in Fear, and from a further distance.
  • Power Push – Knocks back more enemies and objects over a Wider Range.
  • Force Crush – Repeatedly Damage enemies grabbed with the Force.
  • Dark Rise – Boost the power and capabilities of Force Lift.
