How to Vote for the EA Sports FC 24 Team of the Year

EA Sports FC 24 Team of the Year voting is now available as fans can cast their votes for who should make the most prestigious Ultimate Team promotion.

Team of the Year is not only the most prestigious Ultimate Team event each year, but also the most anticipated. Players featured in TOTY receive the largest statistical upgrades of any card all year and are traditionally the most expensive on the transfer market. As well, they're insanely difficult to pack. Players end up preparing for the promotion weeks (or even months) in advance by storing packs ahead of time.

TOTY voting is now live, and this year players can vote on both a men's squad and women's for the first time. Here's how to vote for the EA Sports FC 24 Team of the Year.

How to Vote for the EA Sports FC 24 Team of the Year

Players should head to the link here to vote. Once there, players are prompted to vote for both the men's and women's squads. Players choose a starting XI set in a 4-3-3 formation. Though, players are not locked in to choosing, for example, a traditional backline. If players want to use all four defender spots to vote for, say four CBs, they can do so.

Players will also find the full list of nominees on the site.

"The final Team of the Year XIs will be announced shortly after the vote concludes, with special TOTY Player Items released into EA SPORTS FC 24 featuring some of the highest ratings of the season to celebrate each player's status as one of The World's Best, backed by your votes," EA Sports said on the promotional landing page.

When Does FC 24 Team of the Year Start?

Team of the Year will likely begin on Friday, Jan. 19. A second Versus promotional squad should be released in packs on Friday, Jan. 12. That second squad will be available in packs for a week, then TOTY should begin. Expect staggered releases as well for the individual positions as has been tradition in FIFA history. Though, it's unknown if EA Sports will release both men's and women's players at the same time, or if they'll opt for two different release schedules. Having both sets of TOTY cards available in packs will be better for the overall health of the game and promotion, so keep an eye out.
