Project Winter, the online multiplayer survival game was released on Steam two years ago. Although baring similarities to the popular game Among Us, in that there are traitors/imposters attempting to sabotage the survivors, Project Winter sets itself apart with the various roles players can play.

Because of the many different roles for both survivors and traitors, there's much more room for strategy and deception. Even if it has not reached the levels of Among us, it's become a formidable game in the survival genre.

Is Project Winter Cross Platform?

When it was first released, the game was not cross-platform, but instead PC exclusive. However, earlier this year, the game got a Windows and Xbox game pass release. Furthermore, although the official dates are still unknown, the game is expected to be released on the Nintendo Switch as well as PlayStation consoles. Furthermore, not only is the game now cross-platform, but cross-play has also come, as players using Steam can join up with Xbox players. It's very likely that they'll be able to do the same with Switch and PlayStation once those versions are released.
