Johto Ghost Pokémon: Which Pokémon to Catch to Complete the Throwback Research
Johto Ghost Pokémon are on the docket for players aiming to complete the Pokémon GO Johto Throwback Research. As the second region in Pokémon's history, many of the Ghost-Type Pokémon are among the most recognizable in the series. While any Ghost-Type Pokémon will serve to complete the challenge, players leaning into the Johto event may desire Johto-specific ones. Here are the Pokémon you'll want to seek out.

Johto Ghost Pokémon: Which Pokémon to Catch to Complete the Throwback Research
To complete step four of the nine in the Johto Throwback Challenge tasks, players have to catch a Ghost-Type Pokémon, earning 500 Stardust. The following Pokémon that have appeared in the Johto region should all meet that requirement:
- Gastly (Ghost- and Poison-Type)
- Haunter (Ghost- and Poison-Type)
- Gengar (Ghost- and Poison-Type)
- Misdreavus (Ghost-Type)
These are the only four Ghost-Type Pokémon to be found in the Johto region, making catching one slightly tricky.
