Lake Trio Pokemon GO Region Locations Explained

Pokemon GO’s Season of Mischief is well underway and a new trio of legendaries have taken the spotlight this month: Sinnoh’s very own Lake Trio. Depending on where the player is in the world will determine which Trio member they will encounter, so here are the Lake Trio region locations in Pokemon GO explained. 

The Lake Trio were first introduced in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, and consist of three legendary Pokemon: Uxie, representing knowledge, Mesprit, representing emotion, and Azelf, representing willpower. They are all powerful Psychic-types, and Trainers can now have the chance to add them into their collections.

Lake Trio Pokemon GO Region Locations Explained

Each member of the Lake Trio will appear as five-star raids in different areas of the world from Sept. 14 to Oct. 1. In addition to that, they will be featured in raid hours every Wednesday in September from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., local time. Now, as the Pokemon are region-specific, players cannot capture a specific member of the trio unless they are in the area or traded.

• Azelf will appear in The Americas and Greenland.
• Mesprit will appear in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India.
• Uxie will appear in the Asia and the Pacific area.

Since they are all Psychic-types, it’s recommended to take on these raids with Dark and Ghost-type Pokemon to take them down quick and easy. There’s also the very small chance that any of these members can appear as their shiny variants.

The Lake Trio can now be encountered in Pokemon GO during September.
