League of Legends Clash, the in-client tournament organizer, will take place Feb. 22-23, Riot Games announced Monday.

"Clash is coming!" Riot Games wrote on the League of Legends Twitter on Monday. "Start building your team now! Grab [four] friends, forge a winning crew, and play in the first Clash weekend, Feb 22 and 23!"

Riot Games introduced Clash in 2018 as a way for individual players to compete in real-time tournaments. Technical problems have kept the mode in various stages of testing since then. This round represents the first non-test Clash weekend.

To participate, players will need to finish their placements in solo, duo or flex, activate their account SMS verification in the client, find a team of five players and buy either a basic ticket for 975 BE or 195 RP, or a premium ticket for 975 RP.

Matches will begin Saturday at 8 a.m. ET. Each team will play three games each day regardless of placement.

Further details about Clash can be found on the League of Legends website.
