On February 3, 2021, Riot Games will set League of Legends Patch 11.3 live. With this new patch come many changes to items and champions alike. Particularly in the mid-lane, Phantom Dancer will receive a tweak that will give it more attack damage, but diminish its chances to land a critical hit. Assassins that focus on physical damage may have received a buff thanks to this change, while immobile mages are affected by the price of Zhonya's Hourglass increasing.

1. S-Tier Champions

Patch 10.25 saw the rise of Ekko in multiple roles thanks to the buffs. His high mobility places him high on the list along with assassins like Zed, Katarina, and Fizz. Both Pantheon and Anivia have been nerfed this patch, with Pantheon's Q ability dealing less damage to minions and his cooldowns have been incremented. Similarly, the damage from Anivia's Q has also been decreased and the cooldown for her ultimate ability has been increased. Yone and Yasuo also make the list for the S-tier, because of the changes in Phantom Dancer increasing the physical damage they can deal in the middle of the game and the late phases of matches.

2. A-Tier Champions

Starting off the A-tier is Sylas, who has received a few buffs this patch. His first ability consumes less mana, and the damage of his second ability has increased. Following the assassin trend are Qiyana, Kassadin, Ahri and Diana. Vladimir has received a buff that decreases the cooldown of his ultimate ability, so he will be placed in this tier for the time being. Not many changes have been made to mages like Heimerdinger, Cassiopeia or Swain, who remain in this tier. However, with nerfs to her passive ability and second ability, it is predicted that Seraphine will not be as strong as she was in previous patches, so she will be an A-Tier champion instead of S-Tier for now.

3. B-Tier Champions

Few to no mid lane champions in this tier have received any changes. The B-tier is occupied mainly by strong mages who lack of mobility or nerfs that came their way in previous patches did not make it to the higher tiers. The only exception to this rule is Rumble. Xerath, Aurelion Sol, Lux, Orianna, and Brand have a lot of burst-damage and can contribute to team fights. Zilean, Zoe, Malzahar, Twisted Fate, Morgana are still strong picks this patch along with Akali, Sett, Kayle, Kog'Maw, Talon who deal more physical or mixed damage.

4. C-Tier Champions

Not a lot of changes have occurred in this tier either. With high-mobility physical assassins being on higher tiers, however, mages like Syndra, Galio, Ziggs Ryze, and Lissandra are on this list because of their low-mobility. LeBlanc and Karma are also on this tier, as well as physical damage champions like Corki, Ezreal and Tristana. While some players may use these champions in the middle lane, Ezreal may be used more frequently with a recent buff that increases his attack-damage ration.

5. D-Tier Champions

With no buffs in sight and low win-rates, Azir finds himself in the bottom of the tier list once more. Champions such as Neeko, Twisted Fate, and Veigar are also in this tier as they are either immobile or not viable due to the current meta. In lieu of previous nerfs, Zoe is also at the bottom of the tier list.
