League of Legends Patch Notes: Every Season 10 Update
League of Legends patch notes typically go live the day before the patch itself reaches players, giving them a chance to discuss and digest the changes before they play the new version of the game. Reading up on the patch notes is an important part of staying up on the League of Legends meta game. Plus, you might get a preview of your favorite champion's newest skin.
On this page, we'll put together summaries of every major patch that hits League of Legends in Season 10. You can find broad overviews of the changes here, plus links to more granular coverage, in each section.
League of Legends Patch 10.1
League of Legends' headlining addition is the game's 149th champion, a brawler named Sett. Sett's story sets him up as poor kid who followed in his absent father's footsteps by becoming a Noxian arena fighter. Eventually, Sett became the boss of the fighting pits. Find out more about his kit here.
The patch brings balance adjustments for Aphelios, Aurelion Sol, Azir, Corki, Jax, Jayce, Kalista, Kassadin, Kog'Maw, Mordekaiser, Nami, Sejuani, Shyvana, Sylas, Varus, Vi and Zyra.
Sylas' changes are the most extensive as Riot Games struggles to balance the champion for all skill levels. His early lane should now function similarly to Ekko or Fizz, and he has been re-tuned to fit in mid lane. Every ability in his kit saw changes. Find more information about the champion updates here.
Riot Games introduced several changes to support items in Patch 9.23. Patch 10.1 sees them building on those changes, retouching them to encourage more early game activity in exchange for combat stats. Check out more on those changes here.
