League of Legends Preseason 2021: Best Support Item Builds
By Erika Thomas
The League of Legends Preseason 2021 Best Support item builds have changed. While new items immerge, supports earn new ways to build.
Items for Wards:
Stirring Warstone: This will be the final late-game item to purchase. It costs 1100 gold and will allow you to store up to three purchased control wards. You can only purchase it at level 13 or higher. Once you've placed 20 stealth wards or totem wards it will turn into Watchful Sightstone which gives you 25 ability haste and increases your stealth ward and control ward by 1.
Vigilant Wardstone: This upgrade will costs 1200 gold and will give 40 ability haste and 10 percent move speed.
The Riot team, in turn, is trying to help support players by making it so they do not take up space trying to keep their control wards by taking up item slots.
Legendary Items:
Redemption: This will help with team healing and pulling back teammates to a set spot.
Shard of True Ice:
Consumes a charge to place a Stealth Ward at the target location, which reveals the surrounding area.
Staff of Flowing Water: Healing or shielding an ally grants you and them 15% bonus movement speed.
Mikael's Blessing: This removes all crowd control debuffs (except Airborne, Blind, Disarm, Ground, Nearsight, and Suppression) from yourself or an allied champion and will heal the target depending on their level.
Mythic Items:
Moonstone: This item gives you AP, health, and haste. This is a very defensive option. It is good for catching up or for those who simply want to take a more defensive position.
Imperial Mandate: An offensive damage option, the starts are the same as Moonstone but the passive is different. When you slow or immobilize a target you deal bonus magic damage and mark the target. Your ally can detonate it for more damage. This is a good snowball option.
